- **Event Description**: The Painters Project is an ongoing photography series by Belgian artist Eric Ceccarini (°1965). He invites painters from around the world to use models as living canvases, then photographs the result in natural light. The idea: blend painting, photography, and the human body into one ephemeral artwork that gets "immortalized" by the camera. 

Concept

A meeting between a painter, a model, and the photographer. 
Painters work outside their comfort zone: 3D, breathing canvas, unusual light. Pose and movement influence their brushwork. 
Over 100 collaborations already, with artists from the UK, Uruguay, Mauritius, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, USA, China, Venezuela, Russia and more. 
Ceccarini shuns technical artifice and shoots in natural light, giving the images a soft, painterly feel.
