Pickin' for Autism will once again bring together a vibrant local music scene with a local charter school to spread awareness of the fascinating world of autism. All proceeds support Lionsgate Academy in their quest to be the leader in schools for students on the autism spectrum. A graduate of Lionsgate Academy once related autism to a piece of Swiss cheese, “There are holes in the way our brains work. Some areas are solid and you are very skilled and knowledgeable while others are just not there.” Lionsgate strives to help students fill those holes and help them to find a place to belong in their community.
