Restorative Yoga: Deep Exploration of Support
What is restorative yoga, and how is this style of yoga so beneficial to our bodies, minds, and lives? Learn to rest in a profound way, completely supporting your body while drawing the mind towards inner calm. Learn and practice in shapes intended to cleanse and pacify your system with the support of props appropriate for your needs.
This workshop will introduce a number of postures that you can practice at home. Learn to be comfortable using multiple props, become familiar with how to set up each pose and learn options for using furniture and blankets at home to set up poses. Learn “stability and comfort;” know the signs of discomfort in your own body and learn what to do to make yourself more comfortable.
After this discovery process, you’ll be treated to a restorative yoga practice with organic essential oils and guided meditations including Yoga Nidra.
