I'm excited to announce that Libby Copeland, the author of The Lost Family: How DNA is Upending Who We Are, will be our speaker. Copeland, an editor and journalist at The Washington Post for 11 years, wrote an award-winning story in 2017 on one woman's relentless search for answers to her surprising DNA results. This story led to a book that explores the history and evolution of genetic testing and the effects the results have on the people who receive them.
