Learn the Japanese art of origami by making a paper sculpture without tape, glue, staples, OR scissors!
Mark has been sharing his origami experience in the Saginaw area for over 40 years. He was born in Saginaw and is a self-taught folder. He has given talks and demonstrations at schools, libraries, churches, civic groups, OLLI, the Children’s Zoo, Saginaw Children’s Museum, the Japanese Cultural Center and Tea House of Saginaw, and at several National Origami Conventions.
Join us for an art activity every day that we are open during Spring Break! You can drop in anytime between 1:00 and 4:00 pm. All ages are welcome.
Please note that some Spring Break Art Days take place during our Wednesday-Friday hours and require admission for entry. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and ages 15 and under and members are free. If a student is an Arts for All member, the student AND their family will be able to enter the museum free of cost. Are you a student that is served by the Saginaw ISD, Midland Educational Agency, or Bay-Arenac ISD? You can sign up for Arts for All when you arrive!
