Zachary H. Cohle, Ph.D., an associate professor of economics at SVSU, specializes in the study of globalization, elections, research and development, and health. Professor Cohle, originally from West Chester, PA, completed his bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, and Philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2017. Previously, he has held positions at Quinnipiac University and Texas A&M International University. His academic work has been featured in leading economics journals, including the Southern Economic Journal and the World Economy. Professor Cohle has also been quoted in Yahoo News, the Associated Press, and NPR.
