Christmas Light Switch On - this Friday!
The Christmas fun starts with the ‘Light Switch On’ this Friday 21 November.
Arrive from 4pm for a selection of music and entertainment; with Jazz from Saffron Walden County High Schools, songs from Somewhere 2 Sing, dancing and show choir songs from Tempo’s Performing Arts, and an exciting building up to the Light Switch on with cast members from Saffron Hall’s Pantomime Dick Whittington.
Food options from 4pm; delicious bagels from Beats & Beigels, the German Sausage Stall and Hog Roast from the Silverside Grill. Vegan and gluten free offering will be available from the Greedy Vegan – and there will be sweet treats from The Candyfloss Stall and amazing cakes from Just Baked by Sophie.
Visit the Mayor, Cllr Ahmed’s fundraising stall where you can buy your ticket for the Christmas draw for a chance to win the framed print name ‘Twinning’ by Marigold Twenty Photography, and have a go at the Tombola!
At 6pm the Christmas lights will be switched on by Father Christmas, with host Stuart Vant taking you through the afternoon and into the evening with some party tunes to get you dancing!
