It was a birthday gift experience for him that we'd never done before and would likely do again. On the downside, we weren't too happy with the last-minute change of menu that eliminated salmon, replacing it with cooked chicken to appease one person's food allergy. I've never had sushi with cooked chicken and won't ever again. Also, a bit more of a closing to the class would have been better than just finishing our sushi construction, packaging it up and then she was gone. I was hoping to hear that we could get the recipe for the sticky rice emailed to us, or suggestions of other combinations we might try on our own.
