You can choose to make a cup, mug, bowl, plant holder, plate or spoon holder.The tasting room will be closed to the public during this private Mother's Day clay workshop for a more intimate setting. Make it a date with your Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, daughter, son, lover or friend! You do not have to be a Mother to attend! Let's celebrate women!In this workshop, you will learn wedging and hand-building techniques for clay. Each piece will be glazed with food-safe glaze and will be functional art that can last for years! Come be a part of this workshop to get your drink on, and create a handmade piece!Included is instruction by Carey Shaw, clay, tools, glazing examples (the paint of clay), and the cost of 2 firings (the baking of the clay)-bisque and glaze firings! All materials will be provided, as well as one glass of complimentary Acheson wine. You can delight in a complimentary glass of wine with Mom, friends, family or lovers and get your art on!You will need to leave your piece to fully harden & become bone dry, to be fired, glazed, and fired again.
