Breathwork ~ QiGong ~ Hapé ~ Singing Circle
Welcome to a day of healing, landing in awareness, and connecting with the medicine in community.
Together we lift a prayer for the new earth awakening.
We will start by landing in the circle and connecting with the breath with a powerful practice of qigong to connect deeply to the nature of our being.
We will then transition into the Circulo de Mapacho.
About the medicine Rumé Potó – Also known by the names hapé, rapé, and hapeh, is a sacred medicine prepared by medicine people from tribes in the Amazon. It has a grounding and balancing effect, helping us land into presence. Rumé Potó is often referred to as the “medicine of thought,” as its purpose is to help balance our mental activity. When we’re caught in stressful thoughts, the medicine helps us return to the heart. When we’re entangled in depressive thoughts, the medicine supports us in grounding into the body.
Recommendations Before the Hapé Circle:
🌀 Be alcohol- and drug-free
🌀 Avoid meals for 1.5 to 2 hours before the circle begins - your last meal should preferably be light
🌀 Bring a clear intention, as the medicine works best when guided by it
🌀 Much time of the space will be held in sacred silence - all of us will be journeying inward
🌀 No cameras or phone use during the ceremony
🌀 Bring an open heart
🌀 Bring food to share for potluck after the mapacho ceremony

Facilitators:
Renzin Bepari – Has many years of experience working with this sacred blend and will lead the circle Fuerza del Mapacho and share the important information about the sacred medicine as the tribes from the amazonas call it. He has a deep connection to the spirit of rumé potó and works with great integrity and humbleness in the delivery of this Amazonian medicine.
Sebastian Monomosuke Törngren – A medicine man bridging the traditions of the east with that of south america and will lead Qi Gong and Breathwork. On his travels he has worked with and received the blessing and initiation with the Huni Kuin to make and share the medicine of hapé.
Eduardo Cruz – Will also be supporting the circle as a musician.
