The magic of the season comes alive as Soul Santa Saturday returns for its 3rd annual celebration on Saturday, December 13, 2025, bringing warmth, music, and multicultural holiday cheer to families across Vermont.
Soul Santa Saturday is a free, family-friendly event designed to uplift communities through creativity, storytelling, and togetherness. Events will take place in Burlington/Winooski, Rutland, and White River Junction, with an online option for families joining via Zoom.
This year’s theme, “A Soulful Saturday with Soul Santa,” invites families to experience the joy of holiday unity with activities including:

🦌 Reindeer Games
☕ Hot Cocoa Bar

🎶 Live Music and Storytelling by the Distah Soul and the Soul Squad
Each location will feature local youth and volunteers known as the Soul Squad, who lead creative activities and spread joy in their communities.
“Soul Santa Saturday is more than an event—it’s a movement of love, unity, and cultural pride,” said Wynea Buford, event organizer .“It’s a day when every child can see themselves in the spirit of Christmas and every family can share in the warmth of community.”
Admission is free, and all donations support families, youth volunteers, and community engagement efforts across Vermont.
