Haf Weighton: Ruthin Town Trail mini makes Workshop

Location: Education Room

Come and work with textile artist Hâf Weighton and create your own High Street. Inspired by Hâf’s current exhibition you will go out into Ruthin with her to sketch in special concertina map books. You will then return to the Education Room to develop your work. Mirroring Hâf’s processes you will redraw your sketches in stitch on fabric. At the end of the session, everyone will place their work together to create your own High Street. You can take your work home to develop further.

Dewch i weithio gyda’r celfyddydwr tecstilau Hâf Weighton a chreu’ch Heol Fawr eich hun. Wedi’i ysbrydoli gan arddangosfa gyfredol Hâf, fe fyddwch yn mynd allan i Rhuthun gyda hi i lunio brasluniau mewn llyfrau map consertina arbennig. Yna byddwch yn dychwelyd i’r Ystafell Addysg i ddatblygu’ch gwaith. Gan efelychu prosesau Hâf, byddwch yn ail-lunio eich brasluniau mewn pwyth ar ffabrig. Ar ddiwedd y sesiwn, bydd pawb yn gosod eu gwaith gyda’i gilydd i greu eich Heol Fawr eich hun. Gallwch fynd â’ch gwaith adref i’w ddatblygu ymhellach.
