At the rocks for kids event, students in grades 1-8 go to a series of stations where they collect rock specimens and learn about a variety of topics, including: Pennsylvania minerals and rocks, fossils, structure of crystals, fluorescence (glow in the dark), etc.  There will be demonstrations, games, and lots of fun learning! Recommend arriving no later than 1:30 pm in order to get the full experience!
