# Event Details

- **Event Name**: GHBC Charity Chili Cookoff!
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 07 Dec, 2025 at 02:00 pm
- **Event Description**: ? 2025 GHOST HAWK CHILI COOKOFF ?

It’s that time again… the Annual Ghost Hawk Chili Cookoff returns Sunday, December 7th!

We’re proud to host this event in memory of Noel Korman, Alice Park & Ray “Razor” Korman — three incredible souls whose spirit still lives right here at Ghost Hawk. You can read more about their story at the link in our bio.

Last year marked the first Chili Cookoff at Ghost Hawk, held on the 10th anniversary of Noel and Alice’s passing. From 2014–2019, these cookoffs ran at another local spot — born from tragedy, grown through community, and paving the way to this brewery.

This tradition has always been about the home chefs, backyard legends & amateur heroes with secret family recipes… so this year is 100% amateur-only. (Former chefs & culinary grads are welcome — we’re just asking that active pros currently cooking for a living sit this one out.)

Last year a few pro chefs jumped in and (respectfully) swept the prizes, so now the three 2024 winners return as our CHEF’S CHOICE judges for 2025!

We’ll also have a lineup of special guest DJs spinning vinyl all day, plus raffles, a 50/50, and a few surprises in store.

? SIGN-UPS ARE LIVE! ?
Only 10 contestants — first come, first served!

? Link in bio to sign up.
You’ll get a Square invoice for your $25 entry fee (100% donated to @saintpetershaven). Please note: the fee must be paid through that invoice — not as an individual donation — so we can donate the full lump sum together. Your spot is confirmed once paid.

? 6–8 quarts (standard crock pot)
? Chafing dishes, trays & sternos provided
? Setup 12:30 PM / Tasting 2 PM

We’re keeping the door old-school — no pre-sale tickets. Entry: $5 cash, winter coat, or unwrapped toy at the door. Each paid entry gets 3 votes for our PEOPLE’S CHOICE category.

All proceeds go to @saintpetershaven through our 6th Annual Winter Coat & Toy Drive. Last year we raised $3 K+ and filled a van with coats & toys — let’s top that! ?

Plus we’re dropping a limited release of “High Fives & Positive Vibes” — our flagship lager relabeled for charity. About 20 cases, with 100 % of can proceeds donated to @saintpetershaven.

From 2019–2023, this beer carried the torch when the cookoff couldn’t… now both traditions live on together. ?

STAY TUNED. SIGN UP. BRING THE HEAT.
