The Ashland Beekeepers Association, originally established in 1981 as the Central Virginia Beekeepers' Association and proudly serving the region north of Richmond since its 2011 name change, is deeply committed to the stewardship of Virginia's official state pollinator. As a non-profit organization, they champion sustainable beekeeping practices. At this workshop, they will also raise crucial awareness about the dangers posed by certain pesticides and farming methods to our precious bee populations.
