The Russell Community Thanksgiving Dinner has been a cherished event serving a home-cooked holiday meal to the community since 1979.
The dinner has grown from serving several families at Trinity United Methodist Church in 1979 to serving a record-breaking 953 meals last year at St. Mary Queen of Angels Church. We are planning to serve 1,000 meals this year. This event would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers and the financial support from free-will donations, memorials, and grant funding.
