The Russell Police Association is excited to bring back, for the fifth consecutive year, Haunted Strathmore!
Last year Strathmore Park was invaded by ghosts and ghouls to the delight of both children and adults. Over 500 people came out to witness the Haunting of Strathmore Park and to take a hayride of the cursed woods of Strathmore Park!
This year, due to the high turnout last year, will be a two night spooktacular.
Night 1 (5pm - ???) will feature the Haunted Hayride, which will be geared
for older children and adults. There will be food available for purchase and a live band along with a DJ.
Night 2 (5pm - ???) will feature the Haunted Hay Ride, along with the area's largest trunk'r treat. A children's rag shag parade to start the event, children's haunted pumpkin patch/cemetery. We will also be holding a jack o lantern contest ( We would love to line the pavillion with jack o' lanterns!). Food will be available for purchase and there will be live music and a DJ. Prizes will be awarded for best costume, best trunker, etc.
Again this year we will have the Cobble Mountain Critter Project on hand with some seriously spooky but true stories (Ask about the cemetery!)
We will be adding other spooky attractions as the event gets
closer!
