# Event Details - **Event Name**: Halton Short Breaks Outdoors (Juniors age 8-11) - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 28 Mar, 2026 at 09:00 am – Sat, 28 Mar, 2026 at 12:00 pm - **Event Description**: Funded by Halton Council, includes monthly sessions involving a range of indoor/outdoor activities for SEND young people from Halton.About this EventThis session is due to take place on Saturday 28th March and will include paddlesports.Please note: This programme is ONLY available to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities who live within the Halton Borough and are eligible for Short Breaks.Places are limited to 12 young people each time and the session will be aimed at young people aged 8-11 years - don't worry if you're older, if the session is appropriate for you, then you won't be turned away! We have a senior club also available for this programme.We will work with young people to identify the activity focus of future sessions.Travel arrangements:Runcorn - Minibus will collect young people at: 9:00am from Vibe [Halton], Old Police Station, Mersey Road, WA7 1DF. Returning at: 12:00pmWidnes - Minibus will collect young people at: 9:10am from McDonalds, Moor Lane, WA8 7AP. Returning at: 11:50amWhat to bring:Wear some comfortable clothes you won't mind getting dirty along with some training/running shoes!Waterproof coat.Any snacks you might want along with something to drink.*All relevant safety equipment will be provided, e.g., climbing shoes, floatation devices, helmets, harnesses etc.More information on the next session will be shared soon!
