Having been ordained in Ripon Diocese in 1983 and serving in parishes in Leeds until 1995, Andrew then moved to the Diocese of Southwark where he was Bishop’s Chaplain before moving to the Cathedral in 1999 where he was firstly Sub Dean and Precentor before becoming dean in 2012.Andrew has served the church in many capacities including 18 years as a member ofGeneral Synod. In retirement he is Chaplain to the Strategic Leadership DevelopmentProgramme of the Church of England and continues to teach and lead retreats amongstother things. Andrew has also led pilgrimages for the last thirty years to the Holy Land but also to many other places.Andrew has written a number of devotional books including one for Passiontide and Holy Week called ‘The Hour Is Come’ and another for Advent called ‘Bethlehem Bound’ both of which are published by Canterbury Press.Fr Angela Rayner : “Moving the Parish from Maintenance to Mission: Learning from Mary and John the Baptist”Fr Angela is a parish priest in the diocese of Southwark. For four years, she has served two parishes in South London: Holy Trinity, Tooting Bec, and St Augustine’s, Tooting Broadway. Prior to that, she served her title at King’s Lynn Minister in the Diocese of Norwich. She has particular pastoral interests in supporting diverse and neurodivergent communities.Fr Mund Cargill-Thompson “The glory of God is a human being fully alive – bringing adults, young people and children into life in all its fullness”Fr Mund has been passionate about sharing faith in a catholic sense since he first came to faith as a teenager.
