As a special feature local musician Keith Belanger will make a special appearance as one of the feature musicians, along with the wonderfully talented Julia Chisholm from South Boston. If you’ve ever seen a Dueling Pianos show, you were more than likely on vacation in Florida, Vegas, Boston or another destination location. This special performance happens local, and consists of two grand pianos, two charismatic, hilarious entertainers behind the keys, and an audience that will laugh and dance into the night. Throughout the event the players perform audience requested songs. The pianists sing and battle back and forth with comedic commentary and hilarious banter. Many times, requests are for Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, or Elton John but you never know what will pop up as a request, and you’ll be amazed at the song list these artists have off the top of their heads. The show is always different due to the requests and interaction with the audience; no two Dueling Piano shows are ever the same. Featured for this special performance is local musician Keith Belanger who studied piano for 16 years with Gail Dorr of Rumford, Maine; he was a voice student at the University of New Hampshire. He has been performing since the age of 7, acting since the age of 14, music directing theater since age 24, and working as a piano cabaret entertainer since 33. Keith lives in Derry, NH and performs all over New England. Sharing the stage and dueling with Keith will be the very talented and entertaining Julia Chisholm of South Boston. Julia is a singer, songwriter, self-taught musician, and believer of faith. Heavily influenced by strong female vocalists, like Adele, H.E.R., Madison Ryan Ward and so many more, Julia has found her own voice. Traveling the world for over a decade, singing on cruise ships, various venues, and showcases has allowed her to develop as a performer and grow her understanding of her own artistry. Julia released her first single, “Christmas Gift”, in December 2023. Since then she has dropped two EPs, The Essesnce of Julia Chisholm ch. 1 and ch 2. She hopes that it might shine some light on the world. This special performance takes place at 49 Franklin in the Mystic Theater, on Valentine's Day Saturday February 14th. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for seating, social, and full pub menu, and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. Enter at the right side of the building and go to the top/back parking lot.
