Guided Nightjar Walk - Cannock Chase

Join the Rangers as we head out onto the heathlands, in search of nightjar’s, and other nocturnal wildlife. We hope to spot and see the majestic Nightjars that call Cannock Chase Country Park home. We will also get the chance to spend some time with the West Midlands Ringing Group (WMRG), showing participants the methods used to ring, record and survey for nightjars!

Pre-Booking is essential. More details will be given to participants closer to the event date, due to the sensitive nature of these species.

Disclaimer: No nightjar nest sites or specific locations will be given during these walks. The nightjars will be viewed from a distance, to ensure disturbance is kept to a minimum.
