People often ask why we refer to the structure of our teaching as ‘Spirals’ … a spiral year in terms of our course introduces core concepts repeatedly, but with deepening layers of complexity each time they are revisited. For example, in our Coven course  spiral curriculum, students might first learn concepts of the seasonal wheel of the year in accordance with natural cycles and correspondences (crystals, plant medicine, Goddesses, Lore), relating to that season, the knowledge is then built upon with a more personalised approach of how this is adapted to their own needs incorporating devotional practices and ritual structures. 

In the first spiral year the student will learn a foundation of practical knowledge then revisit it in second spiral with a with more deepened awareness and confidence in exploring themes to enhance practices. This approach helps students build a solid foundation and retain knowledge over time.

Our Coven course encourages you to develop your own skills within the core context of each session/season. We will give you all the resources you need and guidance to create the basis of your craft and you in turn will meet us at a point of openness and awareness of the reverence of these ancient traditions, cultures and practices. 

In November there is an open day to welcome new students and talk about the course. You will find out about the syllabus and what is expected of you then. The open day will enable us to select the 10 students for the year. 

There are 13 witches present in each class 
10 students 
* Joanne: Teacher covering the Theory 
* Lisa: Teacher covering Practical 
* Class room assistant: A volunteer from a previous course to support students pastorally and assist teachers practically. If you want to be considered for this role please contact me (Joanne) .
