Crompton Moor and Ogden Circular

Nearest Post Code OL2 8LS 🅿️ is at Crompton Moor the Road Leads up from Buckstones Road just keep following the road till you get to the main Car Park at the end. Please arrive for 10:45 AM with the aim of setting off for about 11:00AM

This is Fantastic Walk starting on Crompton Moor then heading to the Summit at Crow Knowl 391 m before Dropping down into the Piethorne Valley then a stop at the Bulls Head at Ogden. The walk is 6.3 miles and should take around 4/4.5 hours to complete with a refreshment stop at the pub. There’s only one major climb and that’s at the start it’s a gradual accent but it may not be suitable for everyone. Children and Dogs are welcome as long as children are with a parent or guardian and Dogs are kept under control by owner. Please wear suitable footwear and bring enough supplies to last for 4.5 hours.
