In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to create a colorful design by carefully tucking fabric into pre-cut grooves on a foam board. It’s a bit like painting with fabric, combining color, texture, and creativity to produce a quilt-like masterpiece.

No sewing experience is needed, making this the perfect class for anyone who enjoys crafting, quilting, upcycling fabric, or simply trying something new. You’ll learn the basic techniques, tips for selecting fabrics, and finish your own unique piece to take home.

Whether you’re an experienced crafter or picking up a new hobby, Kinusaiga is a relaxing and rewarding art form that you’ll want to create again and again.

Skill Level: Beginner

No sewing required. All materials are provided unless otherwise noted. 

Attendees will take home their finished project, as well as the tools we will be using:  Scissors, seam ripper, and xacto knife.
