Meet from 10am for coffee, for a 10:30am Start / 50km Hilly / Social Pace 15-17kph average / Mid Ride stop at the Lakedown Brewery / Route will be emailed the day before.

Join us on the 16th of August for some brand new trails in Sweet Sussex. For our 8th Ride in the series, we’re going to head over to some of Pip’s favourite trails to the south-east of our workshop. A mid-ride visit to a brewery should be a highlight of the ride!
The route has been designed for gravel bikes, but you’re welcome to bring any suitable off-road bike based on a social/15-17kph pace. 

From The Junction pub in Groombridge we’ll ride South-East to The Brickyard and Catts Hill, and then on to some of the nicest trails in the Weald before popping out at the Lakedown Brewery for a pint - you can grab soft drinks and we’ll get some food too.

On the way back we’ll head back through some great little bridleways which take us to Mayfield, and then on to Rotherfield via one of my favourite trails, before heading back to the Junction for a pizza/another beer/coffee!  

Parking is available throughout the village, including a public car park, or better yet ride over to meet us! 

Please download the route below! As with most gravel rides, you MUST be reasonably self sufficient, or ride with someone who is. You should have your own basic kit to fix trailside issues. It’s not a race - we’ll naturally split into smaller groups so pick a pace you’re happy with and go with it! YOU ARE 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND FOR THE SAFETY OF THE RIDERS AROUND YOU. We’ll all regroup at the midpoint and at end!
