Join us for an afternoon of Japanese-inspired fun to welcome spring.

Start at the Hub for Japanese crafts - decorate your own Kokeshi doll and/or traditional fan, and browse food and drink stalls with Japanese treats to buy. Follow the Sakura trail up to the Community Orchard for Japanese games and traditional kamishibai storytelling under the blossom.

Kamishibai is a beautiful Japanese form of street storytelling using illustrated boards — magical for little ones. ✨

📖 Story time sessions:
12.30 & 1.30 — younger children (Reception–Y4)
1.00 & 2.00 — older children (Y4+)
BYO picnic or pick up something delicious on the way. 🍱

📅 Saturday 18th April | 12pm – 3pm
📍 Hub & Community Orchard, Grosvenor & Hilbert Park, Tunbridge Wells
Free and family-friendly. Children must be accompanied by an adult. See you under the blossom! 🌸
