Held over 5 sessions (course dates below) you and a maximum of 5 others will learn about settling anxiety when speaking to others, understanding how to continually improve your speaking skills, structuring a presentation, engaging an audience, body language and much more. There is plenty of time for practise so you get exactly what you want from the course.I used to be scared of speaking to others when I was younger. I learnt to do it over years but there is a far quicker way and I can help you learn that. As a double winner of Toastmasters International UK Public Speaking contests, I've learnt a lot and I can teach you much of that and, in doing so, you can become a confident, engaging and effective public speaker just like many of my former students.As to what we cover, the following gives you an overview of the course and what we will cover together:Understanding and building confidenceUnderstand what you do well and both what you can improve and howClarity in both your message and your spoken wordTools to help you engage better with your audienceHow to evaluate a speech and give useful feedbackImproving your voice and body languageThe small group is vital to allow each person to share their experience and support each other to be the very best speaker they can be.
