This session demystifies generative AI and large language models for people professionals. We’ll explore what these tools are, where they excel and where they fail, and why AI should be seen as a co‑pilot rather than a replacement. We’ll unpack key risks—hallucination, data leakage and bias—and introduce simple mitigations: anonymisation, enterprise tools and human gatekeeping.
A live demonstration will compare a weak prompt against a CLEAR prompt using a sample HR policy, showing how context and structure dramatically improve output quality. Participants will leave with a safety checklist, a prompt card and a short list of low‑risk pilot ideas for their organisations.
You’ll learn how to create micro‑workflows that use AI to streamline everyday tasks such as meeting summarisation, inbox triage and quick research. We’ll build repeatable processes that start with a rough prompt and evolve into a robust context pack using the CLEAR framework. We’ll layer in anonymisation steps, verification checklists and contingency plans to ensure accuracy and protect sensitive information.
