We have our parents (or caregivers) telling us things, our teachers telling us things, our partners, friends, managers, the world! We internalise these messages. We take on the vibration of these words . Many of these messages are negative and untrue. They might have been things like ... “you’re lazy, you're selfish, you're no good for anything, you’re a coward, you’re ugly.” Not only do we believe them, we start to live them; they become a part of us. They become our programming.We also start telling ourselves negative messages, or untruths, and start believing those. We create more internal programming.In the ritual we release the old messaging and then create new messages . For example “I love every aspect of myself. I am beautiful. I am strong and capable”. We feel into these words – these messages.And then we dance these messages into our bodies. Feeling them vibrate in every cell in our body. We re-program ourselves.We then create a mandala and anchor these messages visually. There will be an opportunity to write these messages down also, so you can continue the practice well after the retreat.After, we will have time for sharing and a closing meditation.After our dance journey, we will enjoy a beautiful catered lunch prepared by a wonderful chef using fresh, home grown ingredients. This is a great time to unwind, sit and enjoy some relaxed time together before returning to the Temple Space for the second part of our journey.Part 2: Sing, Sing, Sing!After lunch, we will be joined by Deb Brennan our resident Kinesiologist and singing coach. Deb will guide us through vocal warm-ups and take us through some group singing, think pub choir. This will help you embody the vibration of the throat chakra and experience the healing power of sound. Don't worry if you think you can't sing, let's change that programming and have some fun anyway. The songs Deb has chosen will be well known songs.
