When Matt Holt walks up on stage it doesn’t feel like you are in a comedy club. It feels like you are at a party, surrounded by friends. His style is so laidback and comfortable, it feels just like a conversation with your best buddies. He charms you into letting your guard down, and that’s what makes him dangerous. No longer is there a barrier between audience and performer. He’s in the moment. He’s relaxed. He is in control because he has done this 1000 times before. He zips seamlessly from scripted material to crowd work and back again. It’s off the cuff. It’s razor sharp. Dangerous.
Matt has been performing comedy for over twenty years. Obviously, he is good at it. He has been seen at the Seattle International Comedy Festival and the Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival. He has written two one man shows, “Thank You Johnny Carson” and “Acting My Age!” Incidentally, “Acting My Age” is also the title of his latest CD, which debuted in the top ten on the I-tunes comedy chart.
He is a favorite on the Bob and Tom show and has frequently filled in as a guest host. He is also a regular guest on The Anthony Cumia Show featuring Dave Landau. He is heard frequently on SiriusXM Satellite Radio and he regularly performs in Sin City. He has had the privilege of sharing the stage with many comedy greats, including Louis CK, Dave Attel, John Pinette, Ron White, and Jimmy Pardo. He is one of the most requested acts in the Midwest and he tours throughout the nation
