Pedal Through the Zoo Afterhours

You bring your bike. We’ll bring the wild. Bike Safari is back! On Thursday, June 12 from 6 to 9 p.m., the Detroit Zoo will open its paths to cyclists of all ages for an evening of movement, discovery and connection.

Explore 125 acres at your own pace. Coast past camels. Catch a breeze between habitats while the sun sets behind the trees.

What to Expect
• $1 carousel rides
• Free entry to Dragon Forest by foot
• Food & drink available for purchase
• Zookeeper chats throughout the evening
• Photo op at Rackham Memorial Fountain
• Access to “Charlie Harper’s Natural World” — a vibrant art experience
• Educational scavenger hunt that explores how your ride supports conservation
