The Roxbury Arts Group is privileged to be hosting Loco7 dance puppet theatre at Roxbury Arts Center for a residency throughout the month of July 2026.  As part of this residency,  they will develop and present their new piece Cause and Effect. During this residency, the creative team will develop movement vocabulary, puppetry sequences, and musical landscapes that examine themes of interdependence and ecological balance.

By weaving together physical performance, handcrafted puppets, and an original live score, Cause and Effect reveals the beauty and fragility of the natural world, illuminating how human actions ripple through animal life and the environment. The residency will support the creation of new choreographic material and the integration of puppetry, live music, and multimedia elements, advancing the work toward a fully realized interdisciplinary performance.
