With our newly elected officers, we will be reviewing the budget for the upcoming year and sharing more information about the history of our chapter as we continue to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

Advanced Training
We all love Texas natives and will be honored to have one speak on the topic, “Bryophytes: Taking a Closer Look at Biodiversity” by Dale Kruse, Curator of the Herbarium at TAMU. NOTE: the program will follow the meeting at 10:30am so if you invite guests who only want to attend the program, let them know it is at 10:30am. 

As an optional extension, training will be offered for bryophyte collecting (at Indian Creek Nature Park in Burton). If you wish to join the in-depth training, please bring a sack lunch as we will adjourn from the meeting, drive over to Indian Creek, then eat quickly and begin training.
