- **Event Description**: Our meeting for January will be at Tandy in Round Rock at noon on Jan 4. We will be setting cabochons in leather. This is the originally scheduled December meeting.

Supplies:
- 2 pieces of leather (supplied)
- cabochon with a flat back (supplied)
- rivets or eyelets (and setters)
- measuring tool (ruler, square, etc.)
- wing divider
- pen or pencil
- sharp cutting tool (scissors, utility knife, etc.)
- stitching supplies (1 and 2 hole stitching chisels, thread, needles)
- mallet
- hole punch
- double sided tape
- contact/rubber cement
- bone folder
- skiver
- edging supplies/tools (e.g. beveler, burnisher, etc.)
- dye/applicator
- finish/applicator
- gloves (optional)
- stamps (optional)
- plastic wrap (optional)

For our trading cards, the suggested theme this month is Christmas/Holiday, If you wish to participate, bring a trading card approx. 2.5" x 3.5" that you have created to trade with other members. We are keeping the holiday theme since the Dec meeting was canceled last minute.

Our optional home project is to make something using wet molding.

Also, for those wishing to become or remain members, it's always a good time to pay dues. If you're a first time member, your first month is free. If you decide to continue with us, it's a prorated fee - $2/month through December. Otherwise, it's $24 for the year or $45 for the family rate.
