Get ready for one of the most magical nights of the year! The Annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Cookie Crawl is back with exciting new features for the whole community to enjoy.
New Location for the Tree Lighting
This year, the holiday tree will shine brightly in Downtown Round Lake adjacent to the Round Lake Area Fire Department, 409 W. Nippersink Rd. The annual tree lighting will take place here, along with fun downtown activities, creating a new and festive tradition!
Event Schedule
4:00–8:00 PM – Kris Kringle Market
Kicking off the celebration, the Twisted Sisters Events team is bringing a brand-new Kris Kringle Market to Avalon Avenue. Shop unique gifts, holiday treats, and festive finds while enjoying the market atmosphere.
6:00 PM – Holiday Carols
The Round Lake Area High School Choir will fill the air with holiday cheer as they perform classic carols to start the evening’s celebration.
6:10 PM – Santa’s Arrival
Santa himself will make a grand entrance to join in the festivities!
6:15 PM – Tree Lighting Ceremony
Together with Mayor Brubaker, Santa will lead the countdown to light the holiday tree, officially kicking off the season.
Cookie Crawl Fun
After the tree lighting, grab your Cookie Crawl Passport and visit local businesses to collect cookies and passport stamps. Once your passport is filled, turn it in for a chance to win a special giveaway!
More Holiday Magic
The evening will also feature hot cocoa, holiday crafts, a face painter, festive characters, and more to keep the fun going for the whole family.
