45 ans de carrière, 14 albums studio, et toujours l'indépendance en bandoulière, And Also The Trees livre à un rythme de plus en plus soutenu des albums libres et inspirés. Libres car détachés de toute référence à la coldwave et au rock gothic qu'il a pourtant contribué à forger au côté des Cures au début des eighties. Inspirés, car c'est le seul moteur d'And Also The Trees, groupe ayant préservé son indépendance pour ne répondre qu'à l'injonction de ses muses.

Depuis le début des années 2010 et la parenthèse acoustique "When The Rain Comes" / "Driftwood", le groupe des frères Jones semble connaître un second âge d'or qui se traduit sur scène par des concerts classieux, exaltés, et une audience croissante.

2024 voit la sortie de "Mother-of-Pearl Moon", moins de deux ans après "The Bone Carver", un disque délicat, à l'orchestration luxuriante et discrète qui franchit de nouvelles frontières pour le groupe avec notamment l'adjonction de parties électroniques par endroits.

Catherine Graindorge est avant tout connue pour ses collaborations en tant que violoniste avec Iggy Pop, John Parish, Hugo Race (ex Bad Seeds), Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Mark Lanegan, Debbie Harry (Jeffrey Lee Pierce project), Pascal Humbert et bien d'autres. Elle réussit le tour de force de convier autour d’un fabuleux travail sur son instrument fétiche autant de légèreté que d’absolue noirceur.
