This workshop is a unique combination of 5Rhythms® and Somatic Experiencing®, offering an Elective experience within the 5Rhythms curriculum.

5Rhythms serves as the foundation for this weekend. Dancing the Wave helps us achieve a state of equilibrium and quiets the mind. Throughout the weekend, we will engage in body-oriented practices from Somatic Experiencing, designed to alleviate the effects of trauma. By tuning into our felt sense, we will learn to listen to our bodies and their responses, fostering a deeper connection with our nervous system. 

In addition to group sessions, a few participants will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one Somatic Experiencing sessions, with the group serving as witnesses.


ABOUT 5RHYTHMS:

5Rhythms® is a movement practice developed by Gabrielle Roth. Five different rhythms are gateways to our inner being. Flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness. 5Rhythms is a powerful tool for change and good physical and emotional health.

ABOUT THE TEACHER:

Ron Hagendoorn is an accredited 5Rhythms teacher and a certified Somatic Experiencing® practicioner. His way of teaching is direct, big hearted and well balanced. He lives in the Netherlands and teaches internationally. Ron is Ron. Clear, dedicated, embodied.
