And three years after their first passage, they are finally coming back again to do this live at GROUNDS! We still remember that amazing concert like it was yesterday, so we are already looking forward to 8 November.

Even better than the best seems impossible, but Black Flower proves it can be done. Because with each new album, they outdo themselves every time. Even with their latest full-length album Kinetic (2025), on which they fully embrace the ever-transforming power of rhythm and movement in Jazz. Not stuck in patterns or resisting change, but just looking for innovative sounds in a bold and dynamic way. Every groove, rhythm and pulse channels a raw energy and encourages you to dance while moving through the chaos of life.

Rolling Stone, MOJO and Stereogum are overflowing with superlatives for Black Flower and Gilles Peterson, The Gaslamp Killer and Lefto Early Bird cannot hide their admiration either. They recently made Rotterdam shake during their energetic show at North Sea Jazz, so fans of John Zorn, Fela Kuti and Mulatu Astatke can already get warmed up for Black Flower's return to GROUNDS.
