This event remains part of our Youth Week initiative, focused on creating opportunities for rangatahi to enjoy positive recreation, connection, and community participation.

Come through, show your skills, and represent your crew in a high‑energy competition.

Organised in collaboration with Rotorua Youth Council and Rotorua Basketball Association, the Youth 3x3 Basketball Competition is looking for teams across U15, U17 and U20.

Each team may consist of up to four players. All players must be in the same age group. At least one girl must be part of the team and on the court at all times.

These are quick‑fire rounds played on a half court, with games lasting four minutes each way. Each game will be refereed and played under Basketball NZ 3x3 rules and regulations. The draw will be posted a few days prior to play. Please be prepared to play more than two games.
