After more than 30 years in education, Tony Pope stepped away from principalship in 2011 to fully pursue painting. Working primarily in oils, his work captures the atmosphere and quiet drama of Rotorua’s streets, landmarks, and geothermal landscape. This exhibition marks Tony’s first solo show — a special milestone in his creative journey.
