- **Event Description**: Held on the Paiaka Trust farmland at the top of Utuhina Rd, this is a true cross-country event, with great views over Lake Rotorua and the city. The main race is around 10km and will be 3 laps of a loop around 3.3km. Children 14 and under will do 1 lap (3.3km), and those over 14 can opt to do one lap or 2 laps, if your fitness isn't quite there for the full 10km distance.

There are 3 trophies up for grabs for current financial Lake City club members. The race is run as a "sealed handicap", meaning everyone starts at the same time, and handicaps are deducted from the times to find the winners. The trophies are for the winning male runner, female runner, and walker.

To get there, drive up Utuhina Rd and continue on the driveway and farm track off the end of Utuhina Rd. Continue 1km up the farm track to park in the designated area just before the stock yard. 

We will have a shared afternoon tea after the event, so please bring along a plate of food to share.

Please be there by 1:45pm. Race briefing will be at 1:55pm, and race start for everyone is at 2pm.
