We’ll begin the evening with yoga, somatic movement, and gentle shaking.
After this small warm-up, we will nestle down into the Sound Bath — a chance to rest deeply and, maybe just maybe, comfortably say goodbye to 2025 and all that it gave you. 

When the sound journey is over, we will open the space for music, food, and refreshments.

Paul Quinlan will do his utmost to play a variety of tunes that cross many genres, past and present, that you've probably never heard before.
On top of that, Karolina will at some point in the night spin a few tunes that light up her life and that she would like to share with you.

Please bring something comfortable to lie on — a mat, sleeping bag, heavy blanket, eye pillow — anything that helps you fully relax during the sound bath.

If you want to dress up to the nines or be completely loose and free, whatever it may be, just be sure to bring your — metaphorically speaking or not — dancing shoes, so we can all embrace this joyful crossing of years.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided, but please feel free to bring food to share — a favourite dish, sweet or savoury, homemade or bought. Vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, flexitarian, omnivore — all are welcome at the table.
Kitchen facilities will be available for warming food.

Surya Rhythm gathers many people from around Leicestershire, and indeed many come from different parts of the world. We all have many paths trodden and stories to tell, and if you have sampled a little of what we are about before, then we would love to see you again. If you are coming by yourself or as a group and have never been with us before, we welcome you with open arms and hope to bring a little Surya into your life.

Music has been a constant thread in Paul’s life. Growing up, he got swept up in the early indie and rave scenes — a time that shaped his life in more ways than you can possibly imagine. A pair of 1210s, a mixer, and an ever-growing vinyl collection soon followed — and that obsession with records and digging for music has stayed with him ever since, more than 30 years down the line.
His sets are eclectic, just come with open ears and the music will do the rest.

Music is also a constant thread in Karolina’s life, from her early days in an orchestra to countless nights dancing under the stars in a field somewhere. The sound journeys she takes people on with her various instruments receive a great deal of positive feedback. Added to this is her knowledge of high-quality music, and you’ll hear a small set of tunes she loves, along with all their vibrations.
