The fictional account follows the journey of a 12-year-old Roswell millworker and is based on the true story when approximately 400 Roswell Manufacturing Company workers, mostly women and children, were charged with treason and transported to northern states by the Union Army during the Civil War. 

Feel free to join us at any of our meetings this year to listen to the discussion and learn a piece of Roswell’s history.  All are welcome!  Please email us at archives@roswellgov.com so we know how many chairs to set out. 

BYOM: Bring your own mug if you would like to fix a cup of tea or coffee for the discussion. We will have an assortment of tea offerings to choose from.
