Gypsy Jazz JAM! at Square Root Cafe

Come join gypsy jazz jam night with Swing 440, gypsy jazz quartet, at the Square Root in Roslindale, MA.

The house band performs 7:00 - 8:15 pm, then jam until 9:30 pm

Violinist Tomoko Iwamoto, a leader of the Swing 440, appears as a featured soloist with Women In World Jazz and Annie & Fur Trappers, and performs with legendary clarinetist Billy Novick in the swing trio, Jazz Tapestry. Tomoko travels in US and internationally to collaborate shows with popular gypsy jazz musicians in the areas.

Jazz Sundays at The Square Root brings together Boston’s best jazz artists in an intimate restaurant setting for performances and themed jams, curated by Brian Friedland. Cover $10-20 at the door pays the musicians.
