- **Event Description**: Explore the world of India ink in this 5 week class, we will look at different ways India ink is used to create art. We will be using old style calligraphy pens to create shadows and texture. I will introduce watercolor as another medium that is used with India ink. The final project will be a black and white still life applying the elements and principals learned. The cost is $100.00 per student.  Please text 918-260-8528 for registration.

Week 1
Learing value with pen and ink. 
Stippling
Crosshatching
Line
We will look at examples of these techniques. 

Week 2
Practice value using a still life. Apply the techniques learned from Week 1.

Week 3
Water color and india ink  quick sketch project.

Week 4
Start final project using the value scale. Student will set up there own still life using available props.  Student will use techniques from Week 1 and apply them to create shadows and texture. Then using water color to create a colorful abstract background.

Final work day!
