October meeting: Prospective new member and pattern darning class

This is our welcome to potential new members month. People who visited our demonstration booth at the Minnesota State Fair will receive an invitation to attend. Did you miss us at the fair but are interested in learning more about us? You are also welcome to attend.

Attendees will learn to make a bookmark with a choice of three pattern darning patterns. The cost is free but we will need to have folks register so we know how much material to provide. If you would like to provide your own thread, you will need about 4 - 5 yards of a color to complete a bookmark.
