This year, I will not only be performing as a duet with Mike LaRocco (one of the finest percussionists in all of human history -- no exaggeration!) at 3:30 pm on the Café Stage, but Mike and I will also be performing with a group that goes way back: Tannersville, an Americana/roots-type group that performs the compositions of Scott Williams.
Scott's a great writer (and I'm SUPER-picky). His songs are expertly crafted lyrically, rhythmically, harmonically, and melodically, and I promise you, you WILL have fun.
I'll be singing background vocals with my friend and yours, Dorraine Scofield, who will also be playing violin. We've been rehearsing up a storm, and I'm really psyched!

This festival (in case you somehow never heard of it) is a family-friendly, two-day event that takes over Main Street and boasts a whole lotta stages (8), a whole lotta bands (over 100 this year!!!), and over 100 of the best vendors in the Hudson Valley. There'll be parades, kids' crafts, film festivals, and lots of yummy eats!
This is a completely volunteer-run event and any proceeds go to scholarships for Kingston, New Paltz, and Rondout Valley music students. ♥
So much music and joy and summertime bliss!!!!
This is the place to be this weekend, so bring a lawn chair and an umbrella for the sun (or the rain), c'mon down, and get ready to have a great time!
