Following the success of last year’s event, organizers have announced several updates for 2026, including new table pricing and the addition of an open bar for guests. VIP tables are now available for $1,000 and reserved tables for $700. Tables seat eight guests, and only table packages will be sold. Last day to purchase a table is Sunday, June 21. 
Hosted by the Fort Bend County Fair’s BBQ Committee, the gala serves as a major fundraiser benefiting the Fair’s mission and helping financially support all five youth auctions held during the annual fair. Proceeds assist in offsetting exhibitor service fees, directly impacting exhibitors and their agricultural and art projects.
Guests step into a beautifully illuminated dining and dancing space designed as a vibrant backdrop for community connection. The setting creates a social experience unlike any other, blending elegance, entertainment and purpose.
“This gala has become more than a fundraiser — it’s a celebration of community and commitment,” said Fort Bend County Fair President Brian Graeber. “Our BBQ Committee continues to go above and beyond to support the youth of Fort Bend County, and we’re proud to bring the event back and have Texas-size fun and even greater opportunities to give back.”
Youth exhibitors who benefit from these efforts participate in events such as the Replacement Heifer Sale, School Art Auction, Junior Livestock Auction and Freezer/Last Draw Sale, earning funds for education and future agricultural endeavors.
The 2026 gala will feature live entertainment by the band Horizon, known for its high-energy performances, along with a gourmet dinner prepared by Anthonie’s Market Grill of Simonton. The evening will also include a live auction; wine pull, big board and Texas formal–style atmosphere. Live auction items will include hunting and fishing trips, Astros tickets, and a beach destination getaway.
Summer Night Gala is reserved for guests 21 and over.
The Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo is scheduled for Sept. 25 through Oct. 4, 2026, with the BBQ Cookoff set for Sept. 18 and 19.
