The session will also focus on practical surgical pearls aimed at minimizing complications and optimizing patient outcomes in the treatment of cervical myelopathy. 

Learning Objectives 

• Review current approaches to the diagnosis, classification, and treatment of cervical myelopathy, with an emphasis on conditions commonly encountered in clinical spine practice. 

• Apply surgical decision-making principles to select appropriate operative strategies for cervical myelopathy based on patient presentation, disease severity, alignment, and comorbidities. 

• Identify common intraoperative and postoperative complications associated with cervical myelopathy surgery and implement practical techniques and strategies to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
