Growing Onions, Shallots & Leeks

Final Sessions of the 2025 Pavilion Series, offered both Sunday, December 14 and Thursday, December 18.
Join us for a hands-on workshop designed to help you master the art of growing Onions, Green Onions, Leeks, and Shallots—starting from seed! Gain the tools and confidence to grow your own flavorful alliums at home.

What You’ll Learn:
- Choosing the right soil and preparing your garden
- Seeding techniques and germination tips
- How to care for your plants as they grow
- Harvesting for maximum flavor and size
- Proper curing and storage methods to make your harvest last

You won’t just learn—you’ll do! Each participant will plant seeds in pots during class and take them home to germinate and grow out.
